Women, Adolescent And Child Health
Sujata Mahila Utthan Society (SMUS) is working to ensure that women and children lead a safe and healthy life.
• With special focus on mental health of women and children to address the trauma through mental health support system.
• Prevention of HIV AIDS in women especially in villages where migration is very proliferating.
• Awareness for malaria prevention in villages.


Women, Empowerment And Gender Justice
Women empowerment and gender justice are critical issues in the contemporary society, aiming to create a more equitable and inclusive world.
DEPTH works for the capacity building of women to make choices and transform the desired actions and outcomes. It encompasses various dimensions
• Economic empowerment by promoting by insuring that women have access to and control over economic resources such as income property and employment opportunities.
• Educational empowerment by ensuring girls get quality education both in villages and urban areas.
• Political empowerment by ensuring equal representation of women in leadership roles and decision-making processes, in precise “representation and participation”.
• Social empowerment by enhancing women status in the society by challenging and changing societal norms, attitude and behaviors that perpetuate gender inequality.
• Health empowerment by ensuring women have access to health care services, reproductive rights, and information about their health.
